Henderson's sister, Ellen, came to Dallas at the end of February for a sorority conference. I met up with her on Friday and met her and two of her friends at Blue Mesa for lunch. She was pretty busy all weekend so we decided to do brunch on Sunday before they caught their plane back to Alabama. My friend Amanda told me about Hattie's in Bishop Arts and it is our new favorite brunch spot! Apparently there was supposed to be a Mardis Gras parade through the Bishop Arts District but because it was so cold and rainy they canceled it.
