EHS Class of 2005

This summer was my 10 year high school reunion.  10 YEARS!!  It was a great excuse to head east for the weekend!  I took a half day and we headed to the 'sip!

Dixon loves driving!

Saturday, a whole bunch of my family came to my mom's house to see us!  Henderson's parents even drove down.  I had to get a selfie!

Our reunion was at Little Dooey's in Starkville.  It was a fun night catching up in person (since most of us are facebook friends, we all kind of knew what was going on in each other's lives.

The #selfiestick was a hit and we had a blast!!

Sunday morning before heading home, we went to meet sweet Anna Claire and to see the rest of the Hubbards.  I so enjoyed seeing all of my family!  It was great to do a quick catch up.  Can't wait to see everyone again soon!!

3rd Anniversary

July 7, Henderson and I celebrated 3 years together!  So cliche, but I can't believe how fast time flies and how slow it passes at the same time!  I can vividly remember our anniversary last year, where we came back early from our Fredericksburg trip for a fertility doctor appointment to see how things were progressing.  We both kept saying how we just needed to our third anniversary and here we are!

Since we just got back from Costa Rica, we decided to play this anniversary super low-key.

Henderson had these beautiful flowers sent to my office!

Then, he picked me up from work and we headed to a delicious dinner at Hillstone's, by my office.  So tasty!  Can't wait to go back!

I even wore the shoes I wore to our wedding reception for the nostalgia factor.  :)

One last selfie!

I'm the luckiest girl alive.  So blessed and thankful to be married to this guy.  He treats me way better than I deserve.  Happy third anniversary!  Can't wait for the next 33!!

3 Years

Three years ago, Henderson and I stood in front of our friends and family and vowed to love each other forever.  This past year has been a true test of our vows (especially in sickness and in health) and I have never felt more lucky to have him by my side.

Since we had just returned from vacation, we didn't celebrate too big.

Henderson sent these beautiful flowers to my office!

And then he picked me up and we went to dinner at Hillstone's.

Yummmm!!!!

I even wore the shoes I wore at our reception!

July 7, 2012 feels like yesterday and forever ago at the same time.  I'm so in love with this man and this life we're living.

Fourth of July in Vicksburg!

Even though I just got back from our week-long vacation, I could resist the urge to visit family/friends over the Fourth of July.  Henderson needed to work since it would be his first Saturday in business for himself so I ventured over to Vicksburg Thursday afternoon by myself!

Friday Mimi and Daddy came over to eat lunch at Rusty's.  (I'm writing this after Mimi died so I'm so happy that we had this little bit of time together.)  We got to talk about Costa Rica and eat some delicious food!  Of course, I took a ton of pictures!

After lunch, we all headed downtown and Mimi, Lauren and I went shopping while Daddy napped in the car.  Looking back, I'm so glad Mimi and I were able to go shopping together one last time.  We even bought Isabella a birthday gift that I gave her after Mimi died.

For dinner Friday night, Lauren, Caroline, Mark, and me went to 10 South, a cool rooftop restaurant overlooking the Mississippi River.  For a cocktail, I ordered a Mississippi sunset - delicious!

And this steak covered in fries did not disappoint!

Great views!

A picture on the Fourth with this pretty baby!  Mark had to work on the Fourth so Lauren and I did a little shopping and just hung around town.

That night we watched fireworks in the rain in their driveway!

It was such a great weekend getting to spend time with one of my best friends and her beautiful family!

iPhone photo dump

The Thursday before we left for Costa Rica was my company's annual family event at the Dallas Aquarium.  So fun!

#selfiestick at the aquarium

Sunday after we returned from Vacation, Ellen was in town for a conference.  So we had lunch, margaritas, and a little Kendra Scott shopping!

Ok, so this deserves a lot more than just part of one post, but Henderson started his own practice!!  So exciting!  This was his first day (right after this he went and washed his truck).  We have been so excited for this day!
