Thursday night we headed to Waxahachie to eat at Tuscan Slice - they get all our business when we have visitors from out of town! Friday night, Henderson and I had tickets to the Ducks Unlimited Banquet in Waxahachie so Mimi stayed at home while I tried to make sure Henderson didn't bid on something ridiculous!
Saturday we did a lot of shopping. Since I've lost some weight, Mimi wanted to treat me to some new work clothes and I wasn't going to say no!
Sunday we went to church and then Mimi and I cooked dinner. She set the table and I cooked two new recipes from the Birmingham Junior League cookbook. Mimi even polished my silver!
Daddy picked her up on Monday while we were gone. I loved having her here and can't wait for her next visit! I certainly miss living with her; so thankful for her influence in my life!
