First Monday

Before March was over, Mimi came over to Texas for a visit.  Daddy was able to drive her over on Friday evening and then came back and picked her up the next Wednesday.  Since it was the weekend of first Monday in Canton, Saturday morning we all headed out to see the sights.  This was mine and Henderson's second trip to First Monday (see our first one here).  Our favorite part is actually the junk in the back!  Mimi loved it too and kept showing me all these toys she used to play with as a child.

We rented Mimi a scooter and she ended up being hard to keep up with!

I loved these blue mason jars I scored!  I've put rice and beans in them and have them in the pantry.

We bought this metal carriage to put flowers in on our front porch.  I'll show you the fruits of that labor a little bit later.

We also managed to grab 3 unfinished tables for the living room - still sitting unfinished, but at least we bought the stain!

And I got another Coke crate!  I can't wait to show you how I've put all this stuff to work in the house.  We've been doing lots of little things to make it more homey.

Such a great day with a few of my favorite people!
