Last weekend was the MS State vs. Auburn game - one of the biggest games in State's history! College Game Day came to Starkville for the game. This summer we had planned on going to this game since Henderson's family are Auburn fans. But since we weren't able to go we headed to Addison to the Dallas Alumni Association watch party! Even though we weren't able to be at the game, it was awesome to watch with 50 or so MSU fans. We are on cloud nine with the #1 ranking!!!
After the game, we headed to Fort Worth to meet up with Kristen, one of Henderson's vet school classmates. She was in town for a conference so we headed to Mi Cocina to catch up! We haven't seen her since graduation two years ago so it was so nice to be reunited even if just for one night!
