One Saturday, we decided to browse the tons of yard sales in Ennis. We got both the desk and the metal cart shown above for $9!! What a steal! I want to paint the desk and put a mirror over it for a dressing table in our larger guest room. And the cart is perfect for Henderson to use when he's grilling.
That same Saturday we made some homemade rocky road ice cream. Henderson's Mom gave me the ice cream maker attachment for Christmas last year and we have greatly enjoyed it!
We've loved the view of the sunflower fields on our way to church in Waxahachie. Sadly, they are drying out now, so they're not as pretty, but they were beautiful when they lasted!
